After some very competitive rounds and excellent bowling the final on the Sunday was between Sylvia Byrne and Paul Cartwright against Janet and Ian Jackson. To say Sylvia and Paul got off to a flyer would be an understatement as after only 8 ends they were up 15-2. No matter what Janet and Ian did Sylvia and Paul came in time after time to win the end. The final score after only 16 ends being played was 22-6 to Sylvia and Paul.

Many congratulations to Sylvia and Paul who had both bowled excellently throughout the competition and commiserations to Janet and Ian. Many thanks to the spectators who enjoyed a great final in glorious weather.
