The competition was played between the 8th and 11th December, the final being played on the 11th. As the name suggests you are not allowed to pick who you play with as the names are drawn so you could being playing with someone you are not used to playing with. That's the beauty of this competition.

There was one stand out team in the competition who did not have to complete the full 18 ends to win their rounds. They were David Schofield, Sandra Marriott and Josie Gee. In the final they met Austin Crilly, Alan Saunders and Sheila Howe.

Austin's Team started the better and after 4 ends were 7-3 up but true to their form in this competition David's team fought back and won the final 21-12 after 18 ends.

Many congratulations to David, Sandra and Josie as they had a brilliant competition and commiserations to Austin, Alan and Sheila. A very good final enjoyed by the many spectators who came to watch and support the players.
