Marker's Course Thursday 6th Feb  1.30

THURSDAY 6th FEBRUARY 1.30pm

Anyone interested in knowing what exactly a marker does,
and would be interested in marking in the future, if asked,
please join us, Peter Marriott, Paul Cartwright and Dawn
Scott for a brief insight into what is expected of you as a
marker.

It will probably only be about 30 minutes and will be at the club after rollup

Turre Open NO ROLLUP Sat 8th Feb

There will be no rollup on Saturday 8th Feb due to the Turre Open being played at Cabrera. The next rollup will be Tuesday 11th. We apologise for any inconvenience caused 

New rules for dead ends

FAB Almeria have introduced a local change to the Dead End rule. Onwards, if a jack leaves the rink into an adjacent rink, it will be respotted on the Tee and a dead end will not be called.  This is the case even if there are no more bowls to be delivered.

It has been mentioned that when watching a competition it is not obvious who is winning as either team or player could be Home or Away

We hope to make this easier in future by asking players to wear a red or blue ribbon to identify whether they are Home or Away on the scoreboard
